The restaurant, managed by the Family, offers typical dishes of Trentino and the surrounding Val Calamento's zone, also proposing game-base specialities. Moreover it’s possible to have menus on request booking a dinner, or to organize banquets and parties, enjoying the special atmosphere you can find to the Baessa.

The restaurant, a wood and stones farmhouse, typically have a rustic furnishings that recalls the historical style of the mountain houses. The Malga internally welcomes 60 guests and 40 externally. Your children can play happy-go-lucky in lot of space the Baessa has at disposal.

There is also a relax-zone where it’s possible to lay down and where you can enjoy some perfume and admire the beauty of the colored flowers that embellish the balconies and the entrance and which bring joy in the day of our clients. Allow to cuddle you from the heat of the wood and from this stupendous place in the middle of the nature and come to enjoy a beautiful meal to the Malga Baessa. Some disse, particularly in demand are the l’antipasto di polentina con finferli e Grana Trentino, pasticcio di crespelle with spinaches of mountain (called "ravizòle" or "gambette"). Then the canederli, that are some particular ones because Mrs Enrichetta, besides the usual ingredients, does them with particular ingredients.  Specialty of the restaurant are the "teeth of dog" (“denti de Can”), or the common (taraxacum officinale) “tarassaco” that grows in the mountain lawns, known also with the name of "tooth of lion" and "blowpipe": it is cooked with lard, bacon, salt and vinegar. A deliciousness.

Our dishes can be accompanied by good wines of the Trentino:
Marzemino of the Isera Wine cellar (
Cantina d'Isera), Muller Thurgau of Cembra, Teroldego Rotaliano of Rotaliana Wine cellar (Cantina Rotaliana).

As regards sweets the expert is Franco, that prepares a good strudel of apples and a greedy Sacher cake.
